 Clinic Background

Dr Mark Speechley is a born and bred Sale lad who had healthcare in his genes, having a father who was the Manager of the Gippsland Base Hospital for 35 years. Mark graduated from the Philip Institute of Technology ( now RMIT University) in 1984. He then completed his 5 year degree by practicing as a chiropractic resident in Natal, South Africa. Upon returning from Africa and Europe he took up an associate position with Dr. Gary Vagg in Traralgon in 1985. Dr Speechley has been here ever since serving the needs of the Latrobe Valley and Gippsland.

Dr Speechley started studying acupuncture in the late 1980's. He completed his Fellowship of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture in 1990. Further study was undertaken in 1995 through the Acupuncture College of Melbourne, specialising in Electro-meridian Imaging and Cosmetic acupuncture. Acupuncture is a considerable part of the options offered to patients of the Breed Healthcare Clinic in devising the best treatment plan for each patient who attends the clinic. Chiropractic and Acupuncture compliment each other and the patients of Gippsland are fortunate to have this option available to them when choosing a clinic to cater for their and their family's healthcare needs.
